Castle Mountain

About the Climb

Castle Mountain’s steep limestone face rises dramatically above the Trans-Canada Highway. Home to possibly the best rock climb in the Canadian Rockies, Brewer Buttress (II 5.6), it also hosts an Alpine Club of Canada Bivouac Hut which creates the opportunity for an uncommonly comfortable alpine camping experience.
